SUPERBUENO!
13 1ST AVENUE
NEW YORK, NY 10003
SUPERBUENONYC.COM
Superbueno’s energetic 52-seat space was designed to emulate the vibrancy of the streets of Mexico City and the urban sophistication of New York. Geometric design elements reference mid-century Mexican architecture; a striking terrazzo bar top with pops of pink, peach, and yellow commands attention; and colorful Luchador masks and works by emerging Mexican artists accent the white-washed brick and plastered walls. Fulfilling co-owner Ignacio "Nacho" Jimenez’s wish of orchestrating a nightly vibe specific to that moment in time, the bar is outfitted with an LED light system of rotating colors.
